My Blog is Growing Up

In 2011 I have decided to commit to posting on this blog every Wednesday.

I wrote my first post in July of 2009 because I wanted to give blogging a try. I also wanted to share my thoughts, ideas and inspiration about parenting. For me this comes from being a committed father who is constantly learning and also from my work as a therapist for children and adolescents.

It has been great to use this blog as an online notebook for my thoughts and ideas. But, I noticed that very few people were reading my posts and even fewer people were commenting. That doesn’t really bother me. However, I think I am ready to make another effort and find my voice.

My blog is ready to grow up. I moved to a hosted WordPress site, added some design and some grown-up blog features. I am excited to see what is possible. Fortunately, this is a great personal and professional exercise for me so there really is no way for me to lose.

I hope you find something of interest, something humorous and something that will enhance your parenting or work with kids.
